What We Believe
We believe the Bible is the inspired message of God to mankind. It presents the Lord Jesus Christ as the Son of God, who came to reveal the Father, and by His death, burial and resurrection made possible the forgiveness of sins.
Salvation and eternal life are God's free gifts to all who by faith receive Jesus Christ as Saviour and confess Him as Lord.
We are here to be a witness for Christ in this neighbourhood so that others will be given the opportunity to hear the Good News of the Gospel and receive eternal blessing.
We preach this wondrous gospel message FREELY ~ NO collection is ever taken.
We are here to provide assembly fellowship for all true believers who desire to gather in a scriptural manner.
SOME BASIC BIBLE DOCTRINES
The BIBLE is the Divinely inspired, unerring Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21)
The Lord Jesus is the only begotten and eternal Son of God, miraculously born of the virgin Mary, and the only one whose life was absolutely sinless and who could not sin. (John 1:1; Matthew 1:18, 23; 1 John 3:5)
Man is ruined by the fall of Adam and is a sinner by nature (Romans 3:23). It is impossible for him to be saved by his own works or religious observances, and he must be “born again” before he can enter Heaven. (John 3:3; 1 Peter 1:23)
The Lord Jesus Christ died on Calvary’s cross, shed His blood for the remission of sins, was buried and rose again the third day, and is today living at God’s right hand in Heaven. (1 Corinthians 15:17-20; Romans 4:25; Acts 2:32)
All those who accept Christ as their Saviour are eternally saved. When they die they will be with him in Heaven. Hell is the eternal abode of the lost. (2 Corinthians 5:6-8; Philippians 1:23; John 3:36; Luke 16:23; John 10:28)
The Lord Jesus is coming again to call to Himself those who have accepted Him as their own personal Saviour, and to raise the dead in Christ. Later He will return to establish his kingdom upon the earth. (John 14:3; 1 Corinthians 15:51-54; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 20:4)
All those who are saved should be baptized by immersion, and continue steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine, and in fellowship, and in the breaking of bread, and in the prayers. (Acts 2:41-42)
